(Zga. Adelaide Meadows 'Rainbow' x Nott. Lucy's Sassafras 'SVO')
This cultivar ‘Rainbow’ is an excellent parent. When we selfed Zga. Adelaide Meadows ‘Rainbow’ (Z. Titanic x Zga. Dynamo) every plant flowered out well. We exhibited 15 plants and received an Award of Quality, AQ/AOS plus several Awards of Merit! Some years ago we made the cross of (Gbs. Green Tyger x Zgm. Dynamite Peru) it was a new hybrid genus. We had a competition on whoever flowered this new combination first could name the new genus and grex! D. Nott bloomed the first plant, and he selected was named Nottara Lucy's Sassafras. So far, they have won for their owners: 2 FCC’s, 1 AM, and 2 HCC’s. These will be smaller growing Zygos easily blooming g in 3” pots and a few are spiking at the time of writing this description. The parents behind Lucy's Sassafras breeding will also add warmth tolerance in growing this cross. This is cutting edge Zygo breeding.
