Slc. Golden Treat 'Sunset Valley Orchids' x Lc. Koolau Seagulls 'Volcano Queen' AM/AOS

Slc. Golden Treat (Lc. Trick or Treat x Slc. Golden Wax) produced heads of 25 or more red flowers with yellow lips. Lc. Koolau Seagulls will produce up to 22 deep red flowers with lots of yellow in the lip on a long stem. This combination will produce offspring with red flowers, yellow lips and a flower count of 20 or more per stem. Red flowers with yellow lips are not easily produced, this is my best attempt.

This grex was originally made in Japan and is named Slc. Mari's Beat. I was so impressed by the flower color and quality I wanted to see more. Compact plants with full round petal form, light cream to yellow flowers with big flares. Very cute, looks like a mini Lc. Mari's Song with more yellow coloration.
