(Pot. Higher Multiplier 'SVO Amazing'x Pot. Golden Circle 'OPRL')
Outstanding shape and color are the objectives here. Higher Multiplier (Pot. Rubescence x Slc. Pink Doll) has a true red color, fantastic shape and the plants grow like weeds. Golden Circle (Blc. Goldenzelle x Slc. Circle of Life) have flowers of 'OPRL' have Orange Petals Red Lip. It is a proven parent that imparts flower shape and plant vigor, blooming twice a year. This cross will produce easy to grow and bloom plants that are 6-8” tall. The flowers will be large, bright red with a dark red lip, up to 4” across.

(C. x ericoi 'SVO Pure Snow' x C. Victorian Lace 'Diamond Orchids')
Our ongoing quest for white compact-Catts continues with this cross. ericoi (C. warneri x L. praestans) has two, large, pure white flowers with a tubular lip, all from a plant just 8” tall. The C. Victorian Lace (Moon Festival x walkeriana) is white with wide, full-shaped petals and heavy substance. The plants are about 8” tall. This combination will give large, white flowers on 8” tall plants. We are hoping the tubular lips of Ericoi will dominate. I have been keeping an eye on how these are growing; the vigor is impressive.

(C. Orchidglade 'SVO' HCC/AOS x C. harrisoniana 'Diamond Orchids 4n')
Orchidglade (C. walkeriana x C. aurantiaca) has orange flowers with yellow lips accented in red. It is an eye-catching combination. This harrisoniana is a particularly nice example of the species, with wide segments, firm substance and large flower size. I know, crossing a pink with an orange? What were we thinking? The offspring will have pink flowers and yellow lips! The plants are vigorous and will start flowering in 3” pots.

Yellow flowers with red spots, 20 years ago this was impossible. Today SVO is offering the top breeding in this color class. Blc. Sun Spots (C. Mark Jones x Blc. SunCoast Sunspots) has impressive heads of 5-8 large flowers. Slc. Jerry Spencer (C. Green Emerald x Slc. Katherine Clarkson) has waxy hard flowers and a broad lip. This next generation is going to deliver large flowers, in yellow with red spots and broad red lips. They are going to be good!

Velvet Rubies (Pot. Rubescence x Slc. Tangerine Jewel) has a true bright red flower with flat wide petals and a darker red lip. It's really a nice flower. Circle of Life (Lc. Culminant x Soph. coccinea) is a well-known breeder with impressive flower form. This combination is going to produce flowers of superior shape, with wide petals, deep red flower color and dark red lips. An outstanding combination where plants will begin to flower in 3” pots and mature at 8” tall in 4” pots.

(Slc. Angel's Fantasy 'Solar Flare' FCC/AOS x Slc. Angel Eyes 'SVO' AM/AOS)
Angel's Fantasy (Slc. Fire Fantasy x Sc. Bright Angel) is just spectacular. The FCC/AOS awarded to 'Solar Flare' says a lot about flower quality. It is also a good grower and flowers twice a year. It's an exceptional parent repeatedly proving itself. Angel Eyes (Slc. Bright Angel x Lc. Little Dipper) has also created many successful crosses. It imparts beautiful flaring, flat, full petals, good flower size, reduced plant stature, and ease of growth in its offspring. Both parents used here have large flowers in relation to their plant size and are dominant for flaring on the petals. This is a great combination. Expect compact plants with colorful flared flowers and larger than average blooms!
