Granata Sunrise (Lc. Tokyo Magic x Slc. Wasp Nest) has been an excellent cross. The flower color looks like a Tequila Sunrise, in shades of yellows, oranges and reds, and the 7-9 blooms are held just above the foliage on sturdy stems. The flowers of Rockette (Lc. Koolau Seagulls x Sc. Beaufort) 'Little Rock' are a pleasing red-orange color, with 5-6 well-spaced, starry blossoms on a nice stem arising from a compact plant. This new grex will give us flowers in warm sunset colors, mostly reds and oranges. Plants will be compact with 5-7 well-presented flowers.

Wendy's Redstone) produces an eye-catching display with flowers that have been described as “a deep velvety ruby purple with a ruby purple lip and bright yellow throat.” Flowers are large at 4.5” across on plants barely 10” tall. Spring Fires (Lc. Fires of Spring x Lc. Fire Island) has strong upright stems carrying 5-9 red/orange flowers with darker red lips. It has proven to be an excellent parent, with dominance for color, a sturdy inflorescence, and bloom period. These will be vibrant velvety red-purple flowers held well on good stems. The 6-8 blooms per stem make this a spectacular show plant. Love Blush (Blc. Love Sound x Blc. Picotee Passion) has different-looking flower colors in shades of yellow and lavender. Flowers are flat and well-formed, and the strong stems hold 4-5 blooms. This is a bit of an experimental cross. We are hoping for flowers with an infusion of orange and lavender colors, and the sturdy stems will carry the 5-7 blooms nicely.
