Paph. henryanum (Paph. henryanum ‘Dos DD’s x Paph. henryanum ‘DD’s Supreme’)
This is really a nice little Paph.  By breeding with select, superior cultivars, we are looking for improvements of the heavily spotted dorsals and dark pink pouches.  Here is a picture of one of the first to bloom Limited supply

SVO 1968
Paph. barbatum (Paph. barbatum ‘Plum’ x self)
This is one of my favorite Maudiae-type Paphs.  The cultivar ‘Plum’ was selected from many in flower and has a very dark pouch and a nice broad dorsal. These are reliable growers and bloomers, and the plants offered here are handsome, with multiple growths. Picture of a first blooming plant

4” pots

SVO 5745 NEW
Paph. venustum (Paph. venustum ‘SVO’ AM/AOS x Paph. venustum 'Christmas Highlight')

The ‘SVO’ cultivar is excellent with fantastic color and a vigorous growing habit, it is a cross of (‘Fox Catcher’ FCC/AOS x ‘Album Beauty‘), so half of its genes came from an album parent.  The plant 'Christmas Highlight' is one of the finest I have seen with superior color, size and form, just take a look at the picture.  This grex may produce some albums but I expect most to be in rich dark colors. Plants are also showing good vigor.

2” rose pots,

SVO 2282
Paph. delenatii   (Paph. delenatii ‘1/2 album’ x Paph. delenatii var. album ‘SVO White Knight’ HCC/AOS)
Lots of album genes here… We expect most to be light pink flowers of good size and shape.  Great growing plants showing lots of vigor

4” pots,

Paph. philippinense (Paph. philippinense ‘Alford’ AM/AOS x Paph. philippinense ‘Diane Jones’ HCC/AOS) ‘Alford’ is a vigorous growing plant known for excellent flower quality, with a 3.5 cm wide dorsal and 14 cm long petals.  ‘Diane Jones’ has a 3.4 cm wide dorsal and 16 cm long petals. This is a great pairing of two excellent plants! Limited supply

4” pots

Paph. parishii (Paph. parishii ‘Jeanie’ AM/AOS x Paph. parishii ‘Andy’s Dream’) This species is hard to come by these days.  ‘Jeanie’ blooms with 10 flowers per stem - a very high flower count. ‘Andy’s Dream’ is a strong, vigorous grower that flowers reliably every year.  Limited supply

4” pots,

Multifloral

SVO 1981
Paph. Transvaal ‘Merienda Lane’ HCC/AOS x Paph. Shin Yi’s Pride ‘SVO’ AM/AOS

This type of breeding has produced excellent results. Transvaal (Paph. chamberlainianum x Paph. rothschildianum) will improve the dorsal width and add spotted petals. Shin Yi’s Pride (Paph. Michael Koopowitz x Paph. rothschildianum) will add large flower size,  bold coloring and 5 blooms per stem.  These plants are strong growers and near blooming size!  I expect them to look like the very successful cross, Lebeau (Paph. Transvaal x Paph. rothschildianum).

Whoa!!! check this out this first to bloom...these are going to be great.  Don't miss out on these.

5” pots,

SVO 1664
Paph. Shin Yi’s Pride ‘SVO’ AM/AOS x Paph. rothschildianum ‘Raja Kumis’ FCC/AOS
Shin-Yi's Pride (Michael Koopowitz x rothschildianum) ‘SVO' has a 5.2 cm dorsal and nearly 2 cm wide petals. This is  a very large flower with a commanding presence! The name ‘Raja Kumis’ means big moustache, and this FCC rothschildianum carries 5 open flowers with excellent color and size.  These will be big, bold flowers with a striking appearance!

5” pots,

SVO 1667
Paph. Shin Yi’s Pride ‘SVO’ AM/AOS x Paph. Saint Swithin ‘Black Rook’
Shin-Yi's Pride (Michael Koopowitz x rothschildianum) ‘SVO' produces very large flowers (5.2 cm dorsal and nearly 2 cm wide petals) that are truly impressive!  When combined with Saint Swithin, the result should be big, bold and commanding flowers.

5” pots,

Paph. Julius (Paph. rothschildianum ‘Dee Dee’s Queen’ AM/AOS x Paph. lowii ‘Exotic Dancer’ FCC/AOS) ‘Dee Dee's Queen' is (‘Mt. Milais' x ‘Nan Chou’) and carries 5 flowers with excellent color and size. Combined with the impeccable ‘Exotic Dancer,’ the result should be superior quality Julius. The first plants to bloom have had excellent flower quality. One of the first to bloom.

6” pots,

Paph. Lady Booth (Paph. Susan Booth ‘SVO II’ AM/AOS x Paph. Lady Isabel ‘DD’s Orion) This Susan Booth carries 6 flowers per stem and has a 5 cm wide dorsal to boot!  The Lady Isabel (rothschildianum x stonei) is a superb cross and parent. These will carry 4-5 flowers with broad, bold mahogany-striped dorsals. Good vigorous plants News Flash: an FCC/AOS was awarded to one of these in May! Here is a picture of one of the first to bloom.

6” pots,

Paph. St. Swithin (Paph. rothschildianum ‘Dee Dee’s Queen’ AM/AOS x Paph. philippinense var. roebelenii ‘DD’s Damsel’) The rothschildianum is from (‘Mt. Millais' x ‘Nan Chou'), receiving an 88 pt. AM with 5 flowers on a stem and dark red pouches. The philippinense is the roebelinii variety, carrying 9 flowers with 11” long petals! These vigorous plants will produce Saint Swithins carrying 5-7 flowers. A must for every collection.

6” pots,

Parvi’s

Paph. Mem. Larry Heuer (Paph. malipoense ‘DD’s Hornet’ x Paph. emersonii ‘DD’s Angel’) Mem. Larry Heuer can have a natural spread over 5”! The flowers are chartreuse, and the centers of the petals are tessellated burgundy, with a dark burgundy staminode. These are rarely available for sale and limited in supply.  Picture of a first bloom plant.

SVO 2277
Paph. Fanaticum ‘Dee Dee’s Prima Donna’ HCC/AOS x Paph. emersonii ‘Terry’s’
A beautifully shaped and colored Fanaticum (Paph. malipoense x Paph. micranthum) crossed with a select emersonii from the Orchid Zone.  Expect heavier substance and a smaller pouch with similar color to the Fanaticum.

4” pots

SVO 5169
Paph. Magic Lantern (Paph. delenatii ‘SVO V’ HCC/AOS x Paph. micranthum ‘Commodious’)
This was the first Parvi hybrid I saw in bloom, many years ago. What an inspiration that was, and it still inspires me today. Expect beautiful pink/rose flowers with petals having darker rose tessellation and a large bulbous pouch.  This is an excellent hybrid and well worth having in any collection.

4” pots

SVO 5170
Paph. Carolyn Butcher (Paph. Fanaticum ‘SVO Chunky Monkey’ AM/AOS x Paph. delenatii ‘SVO III’ HCC/AOS)
This Fanaticum (Paph. malipoense x Paph. micranthum) has excellent shape and flower color -check out the picture.  It is also an excellent grower and bloomer.  The delenatii comes from a superior, vigorous strain, with 8 individual plants receiving AOS awards.  I expect the flowers to be a light pink color with petals that are boldly tessellated and spotted dark lavender, and a white pouch with a lavender blush. Here is a picture of the first to bloom Paph. Carolyn Butcher

4” pots

SVO 5172
Paph. Norito Hasegawa (Paph. malipoense ‘Vic’s First’ AM/AOS x Paph. armeniacum ‘Giant Sun’)
What a great Parvi hybrid, named to honor Norito Hasegawa - a consummate grower, breeder and promoter of Paphiopedilums.  These will bloom with large bright yellow-green flowers having darker green tessellation; the pouch will be yellow-green and be large and bulbous!  An excellent hybrid that everyone should have, in honor of Norito Hasegawa.

4” pots

SVO 5171
Paph. Crazy Bell (Paph. Fanaticum ‘Punch Bowl’ x Paph. Conco-bellatulum ‘SVO II’ AM/AOS)
‘Punch Bowl’ has superb size and shape, with a bit more purple coloration in the lip than most. The Conco-bellatulum has flat flowers that are a bright butter yellow, boldly spotted with maroon. This Parvi/Brachy combination should yield some outstanding results! Flowers will have wide dorsals and petals with a glossy texture. The petals and sepals will be light yellow with dark burgundy tessellations and bold spots, and the pouch will be large, yellow and spotted. Wow!

4” pots

SVO 5174
Paph. Samantha Lowry (Paph. Ho Chi Minh x Paph. delenatii ‘Pink Pearl’)
Ho Chi Minh (Paph. vietnamense x Paph. delenatii) flowers look like an extra large delenatii on very easy-to-grow plants.  ‘Pink Pearl’ is one of the modern delenatii; it has full shape with wide, flat, dark pink petals and a darker pink lip. This cross will make for what I would call a “Super Delenatii.”  Large pink flowers with darker pink lips on vigorous plants.

4” pots
